Transportation

To reach the venue site you can either go through Auburn (via I-80/CA-49) or Shingle Springs (via US-50/Lotus Rd). We recommend the latter option as CA-49 is very windy and is a good way to get motion sickness.

The hotels we recommended above all have easy routes to the Shingle Springs option. While there should be enough parking, if you have the option to carpool with family, please make an effort to do so.

Attire

Ladies and gentlemen are expected to wear semi-formal/cocktail attire. The venue is mostly cemented with only the ceremony residing over grass, so heels will not be a problem. Please keep in mind the wedding is completely outdoors, so jackets are recommended as the sun sets.

Please no denim, t-shirts, or flip-flops - we're not hosting an intergalactic kegger down here.
