Kayla Bettencourt
Kayla was born and raised in Carmichael, CA. As a young girl she developed a passion for reading and learning which prompted her to receive a Bachelor's degree in both Economics and Mathematics from UC San Diego and a Master's degree in Economics from UC Santa Barbara. Today she works as a Research Analyst at the California State Lottery. What she loves most about Mike is how easily he can cheer her up and make her forget her worries. This, along with his innate generosity, has brought her a balance, friendship, and love that she wouldn't trade for the world.
Mike Kassis
Mike grew up not far from Kayla in Citrus Heights, CA. Mike attributes his well-rounded outlook on life to the dynamic upbringing he received from his parents. His father was well versed in math and engineering while his mother excelled in english, history, and writing. Mike received his degree in Economics in 2008 then later went to work for HP for 5 years. Today, Mike works at Microsoft in the Security practice and thoroughly enjoys his work. What Mike loves most about Kayla is that she is the "full package" - beautiful, kind, funny, an amazing chef, and best of all - his dearest friend in the world.
